Water Element Workout

Fundamentals ~ the “why” of your practice

Your Pilates practice takes root here with form and understanding the principles of your movement practice. Like the seed in the ground representing total potential and true essence.

The foundation : flexibility in the spine and engaging the backside

Wood Element Workout

STRENGTH ~ work & grow

It’s about building strength in the entire body, AND building strength in a greater range of motion. As your Pilates practice grows, your movements get bigger & stronger while still maintaining deep connection to the powerhouse. Take up space, and get outside your comfort zone.

The sides : expanding into space, pushing limits, working the hips

Fire Element Workout

CHISEL ~ Expansive & Playful

This is an expansive workout, sweaty and dynamic.

Do the form and rooting work and build your range here mindfully over time. We stand, we balance, we work on a solid ‘base leg’ and a wild ‘flair leg’ from standing to planking.

Sweat, tempo, play, move : Backbend, backside on, expansion!

Earth Element Workout

Daily Core ~ Owning Your Center

Pilates is a daily practice that brings you back to your center.

Here you will find centering, grounding, deep work. This workout is Centerline focused. Grounding. FRAME and how you align. We add short box series in here to your Intermediate - Advanced flow.

Plus plank and plank options that take you away from your center line (one limb right) but you maintain connection to your centerline… therein lies the challenge and fun!

Metal Element Workout

RECOVER ~ return, refine, breathe, stretch

Here’s the thing… we MUST nourish. The pause, the slow down, the deep breathing, the tuning in, the slower mindful movements… THIS is the thing that keeps us feeling like our true selves, feeling full, able to be present, able to show up for our dynamic lives from our true core selves.

Return back to yourself, breathe and stretch, connect and restore. Refine your movements and be very intentional. Flow and move, precision and breath, refine and release. This is both work and release. Challenging and with crisp and clear transitions. Advanced mat sequence with some additional stretches. Breathing emphasis and smooth transitions.
